Manufactured from years 2005 - 2013, sixth generation

Years 2005-2007  a 6.0 L LS2 V8 engine with a capacity of 6,967 cc in which is 13 cm shorter than C5 engine. The engine delivers an output power of 400 hp at 6000 rpm and 400 lb-ft torque at 4400 rpm. Contains a manual transmission and gives a mileage of 15/25 mpg.

Year 2008, a new 6.0 L LS2 V8 engine used with a capacity of 6162 cc. Engine delivers an output power of 430 hp and 424 lb-ft torque. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, faster than Jaguar XK8 and Porsche 911.


Year 2005, part of the American Le Mans Series Race it stood in the second and third place

Year 2006 won the American Le Mans GT1 Championship

March 17th, 2007, won 12 Hours of Sebring

Year 2005, contains a 7.0 L engine with a capacity of 7,008 cc and weighs about 3132 lb. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

Year 2007, consists of a 7.0 L LS7 engine that delivers an output power 620 hp and top speed is about 200 mph. Wheels used are the largest wheels among the other Corvette series.

Carbon ceramic brakes are used and the brake calipers are in blue color.

Year 2006, a part of FIA GT3 European Champion Series

Center locked wheels, front splitter and rear deck spoiler. This car also marked a victory at FIA GT3 European Champion Series.

2009 GT1 Championship Edition
First displayed at the New York Auto Show in the year 2009. It consists of chrome wheels and the interiors are covered with leather.


Special Edition made for Hertz Rental Cars in 2008.  ONLY  500 coupes, 375 convertibles made through 2009.  All were Velocity Yellow exterior with black stripes and black interior.  436 hp with 6.2 /LS3 engines with paddle shift 6 speed.  Larger rotors and brakes, dual exhaust.   The emblem "ZHZ" was embroidered on the armrest and floor mats and a metal emblem on the front side panels.

Corvette Grand Sport


Year  2010  Grand Sport marks the history of Chevrolet’s racing cars.

Comes out with a different body styling and racetrack suspensions for better performance.

Features the rear mounted battery, differential cooler and dry sump oiling system.

LS3 6.2 L engines that delivers 424 lb-ft torque and produces an output power of 430 bhp

Has the two mode exhaust system that delivers a 428 lb-ft torque and produces an output power of 436 bhp and 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission are optional.

Wheels are chrome finished, front wheel measures 18 inches, rear wheel measures 19 inches. The brakes include 14 inch front rotors which contains six piston calipers, 13 inch rear rotor which contains four piston calipers.

The special features includes the extra cooling, specific manual transmission, front splitter in Z06-style and rear spoiler, rear axle ratio and the chrome finished wheels.
