The Baton Rouge Corvette Club held its 19th annual Labor of Love car show at the Plaquemine Waterfront Park on April 29.

The club gives 100 percent of the show’s profits every year to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, making it the largest donor to St. Jude of any car club in the United States.

This year, the club will donate more than $85,000 to the hospital, its largest donation to date. Club donations have exceeded $500,000 since the car show’s inception, a news release said.
