October

Jungle Roar

Have a Spooktacular Month

Quite a few C8’s are popping up around the club.  Congratulations are sent out to Dicky Butler on his new Blade Silver Convertible and to Karen Bedell who will be taking museum delivery of her Rapid Blue Convertible on October 20th in Bowling Green.  Can’t wait to see both cars!

We seem to be getting closer and closer to opening up 100%.  Now in Phase 3 more gatherings are taking place (remember to safe distance and wear your mask).

I am happy to announce homecoming season is here and Maria has been booking cars for several schools.  Thanks to all the drivers who will be available to participate.

On October 24th there will be a Honk, Wave and Shake Parade beginning at 10:30 A.M., Francois Bend Assisted Living in Gonzales and will proceed to all local community Assisted Living Homes in the area in an attempt to lift these residents spirits.  You will NOT come in contact with anyone, nor will you leave your vehicle, just honk and wave. If you can make this please contact Maria ASAP.

As always check our calendar for all upcoming events.  We are still awaiting word on when we may be able to have a general meeting.  The state has not made a decision at this time on our usual building as to when it may be opened again for use.

Finally, don’t forget to Save the Wave, it’s the PROUD thing to do!  And watch out for the little ghosts, witches and goblins this Halloween Season as they Trick or Treat!

President BRCC
