Happy Father’s Day
Looks like we’re finally headed in a positive direction trying to get back to normal for our meetings. It was so nice to see our corvette family of Officers and Board this past Wednesday, June 3rd for our monthly board meeting. Unfortunately we are still without a general meeting location for this month and hope to have something available for July.
There are a few car shows coming up around us and many that have been cancelled. Please check our Calendar of Events for all the updated information and watch for informative emails.
Since we have moved into Phase 2, we are able to get more people together than before and Vice President Karen Bedell has some ideas for a few LMC’s (last minute cruises). Maria will be checking into our annual club steak out in the coming months.
We are happy to inform you that, even without our show, this year’s contribution to St. Jude will be $33,000.00. Thank you to all for your support helping to make this donation possible.
Some important dates to remember:
Sunday, June 14th is Flag Day. Please fly your flags proudly!
Sunday, June 21st is Father’s Day! Ladies please pamper your favorite guys!
Tuesday, June 30th is the 67th Birthday of the first corvette. Please drive your car to work that day. Also, we will try to put a little LMC for that afternoon or the weekend before to celebrate.
We are now entering the summer and school is out. Please watch out for kids as they play around their yards and sometimes run into the street. Also, keep a watchful eye out for motorcycles as they, too, seem to appear out of the blue.
Finally, don’t forget to “Save the Wave” it’s the proud thing to do!
