September

Jungle Roar

September starts the count down to the final quarter of the year.  Even though we are faced with the looming Covid 19 Virus, some members have still found events to attend and show off their cars.

Our general meetings are back at the La. Archives Bldg. where we are settling in nicely, once again.  We have ample room for safe seating and would love to see as many of you there as possible.

Our cflub had a great turnout at the “Rips on the Lake” LMC lunch recently.  A great big THANK YOU to Karen Bedell for putting this together.  The weather cooperated until departure then it was a race for home with tops up!

It’s never too early to  mark your calendars for our Annual BRCC Christmas Party.  This year we will celebrate the season on Sunday, December 12th at Sno’s in Gonzales.  I hope to see everyone there!

We have been asked to participate in several Veterans Parades.  Information can be obtained on the web page set up for Parades and Homecomings, on our web calendar or at the meetings.  All cars are invited to participate (convertibles, coupes & hardtops).  Hopefully with all the vaccinations being disbursed we will see a relief soon so we will be ready for homecoming season!

As you know, several members have been battling severe illnesses, some covid related but not all.  We wish everyone a speedy recovery.  At this time I am happy to report all surgical patients are resting at home with little to no setbacks.  Please keep everyone in your prayers.

Finally, I urge you to get out, drive those vettes and enjoy our beautiful weather when it presents itself and don’t forget to Save the Wave!  It’s the proud thing to do.

God Bless,

Jungle Jim McLin
